I have taken cared of many children even if I stayed only for one family who has two kids for a long period of time because I also babysit in the evenings and weekends with other family's kids with the recommendation of my former employer. I can easily establish a friendly connection with kids and with a little dose of command enough for kids to learn respect and discipline in a proper way. When my employer's kids has to go full time in school they let me go but my relationship with them did not stop. I am still close to the family. I have cared for an adult with dementia who lives in his own home together with his wife. I come to their house 3 times a week to cook meals for them. I have to come some evenings too whenever the wife and her kids' family has to go for a summer vacation. My task is to make sure that he has eaten his meal and take his meds properly. I also assisted him in bathing and walking outside to get a little exercise. Aside from cooking, I did some house cleaning but basically I was there to give the couple company.
