I recently retired from full time work with Alberta Health Services as a Scheduler for 11 years. Before I moved to Alberta I worked for Providence Health in Vancouver for 14 years as a Scheduler and before that I worked as a Healthcare Aide with the elderly. I have been involved in Health Care for 35 years.
When I moved to Alberta I in 2003 I worked various places but always came back to Healthcare. I was a Home Support Worker for Bethany On Route and Calgary Home Support. My favourite part of Nursing is working Hospice Care because I believe in my heart that there are two times in our lives when we get the best care possible, as a baby coming into the world and at the end of our lives with Hospice care.
I’m married with 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter and 6 foster daughters and their children. I am willing to help families with the duties involved with Hospice care and give families the much needed respite.
I love to read, play scrabble and talk with my clients. I sing Karaoke when I can.
