I am looking for a job caring for a senior within Durham region. I cared for many seniors when I was younger working in nursing homes and the Continuing Care unit of York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill. I planned to go back to school and become an RN but life had different plans for me. I started working in sales and a new career took off for me. I have enjoyed great success as a both a Sales Manager and Store Manager. I no longer wish to work in retail and have decided to go back to working with the elderly within my community. I want to work where I can make a difference in somebody's life. Do important work and not just make money for big corporations. My skills are good as I have a 92 year old mother whom I have lovingly cared for as she aged. I love to cook and garden, keep a tidy house and am well read and traveled. I have to be recertified in First Aid and CPR and will provide a Police check if required. My clients will find me to be cheerful with a good sense of humor.
