my name is Nancy. I have been married for 28 years to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 sons aged 23 and 19. We recently moved here from Ontario and are really loving the eastcoast way of life. I am looking at getting into the workforce here. My background is Italian and I can speak it quite well. I have been a hairdresser for almost 30 years and after caring for people with hairdressing needs I decided to go back to school 4 years ago to become a Personal Support Worker. My desire to care for people is very strong and I love to help those in need. In the past I have worked with both seniors and young adults. I have experience with dementia care, cancer patients, kidney failure and palliative care. l helped with all aspects of activities of daily living, wheelchair assistance including transfers, medication reminders, assistance to nurses performing dialysis, assistance with outings to doctors appointments, home care and meal preparation.
