I retired from Community Living Haldimand recently after being a support working with individuals for 29 years. I loved my job but thought retirement would be nice. I was wrong. I want to work with people and part time is perfect. I have experience with developmentally challenged individuals, seniors, teenagers and mental health issues. Until last year I was a foster parent with Haldimand/Norfolk CAS for 12 years. I was raised and still live on a farm so I call myself a farm girl with farm work ethics. I have a University Degree. My resume will read that I have worked as an EA, supply teacher, Probation & Parole Officer and a support worker. My love has been with people. All positions have been contract except with Community Living were I was classified as a part time employee. I like interesting, challenging and ever changing environments. Most of all I like working with people. I have up to date First Aid/CPR and CPI training. I have experience in writing reports, documentation and computer programs. I consider myself a compassionate, caring, sensitive person with good morals. I have a police check with CAS but can acquire another for you. I have a clean driving record.
