I am back after surviving another bout with colon cancer. I lost a few more organs but gained a Colostomy bag and lots of experience navigating the medical system during a pandemic. I have both covid shots and will get the 3rd in January 2022. I have experience with diabetes; kidney disease, c. o. p. d, allergies, arthritis, ostomy care and function, chemo and radiation treatments, specialty diets etc. What I love is being of service to others as a companion, nurturer, caregiver and helpmate. I am grateful for life and the opportunity to help others using my knowledge and experience. I am single and have raised 2 intelligent; happy, well-adjusted and successful children, one boy and one girl. I am switching careers late in the game for a better work life balance. I have an Accounting/ Construction background but have had my fingers in many pies such as raising koi, kids, dogs, cats, landscaping, gardening, and cooking. I am a good cook; I like to keep everything clean, organized and prepped. I have no criminal record and have a clean class 5 drivers abstract. I am mature; honest, clean, healthy, motivated, reliable and interested.

I worked as a caregiver to a 93 year old severe Osteo arthritis patient. I cooked and cleaned for her daily and assisted with showering, gave her pedicures and foot massages to ease her foot pain. Covid happened and her daughter took over her care. She will supply a reference on request. Otherwise I have experience with my parents. My father is 78. He has kidney disease, a permanent cathetar and C. O. P. D. Dad is on oxygen and has to get iron shots monthly. He has high blood pressure and still works so I help him with doctor's appointments, medication, oxygen ordering, diet etc. My mother is 75 and has type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, macular degeneration, arthritis and osteoarthritis. I help her with her doctors appointments, medications, gardening, yardwork and heavy lifting etc.
