I have had experience working on a part-time casual capacity with senior clients who were suffering from arthritis, asthma, Alzheimer's, dementia, as well as those recovering from a surgery, stroke or a heart attack. I performed light cleaning duties in the the home, made light healthy meals, encouraged clients to do activities that were beneficial to their cognitive activity, as well as physical well-being.
I have also had experience working with individuals that are bedridden while in hospital, performing tasks such as bathing, grooming and feeding. |
