My name is Gretchen. I came from a quite big family. I am the eldest of 5 children, my sister next to me is in Hong Kong, while the rest of my family is in the Philippines. I came from Hong Kong, I have worked there for 3 years as a nanny and decided to come and work here in Canada. so I arrived in Montreal in 2016 of October as a live-in caregiver. I looked after a 64 yr woman with ALS and an 82 yr old with Liver Cancer. I moved to Toronto in May this year and now I am looking after an 87 yr old woman who has COPD. I have worked with elderly for many years especially the sick one. They have special place in my heart, maybe because I grew up with my grandparents and raised me when I was young. I am patient, compassionate, reliable caregiver who needs companionship and comfort. I spend most of my free time talking to my family back home, or be with my friends, just going out and do window shopping or get a coffee while catching up each other's on family or personal updates. I do walking a lot, like to do hiking and visit nice places with my friends.
