I am married and blessed with a son. I do love music and the nature. Being raised in the farm, gardening interests me too. Hiking is one of my hobby aside from strolling in the parks. As Care Provider, one should have the traits of being respectful, understanding, loving, caring, and patience. Respect and love should be given to everyone regardless of age, gender, race or social status. Understanding the individual’s situation matters, keeping in mind that we are all unique. Lastly, a great deal of patience is important in providing care with individuals who require special care and attention. These are the traits which, I believe, made me an effective Care Provider.

I am a Registered Nurse in my country and had worked in the Long Term Care Unit and in the ICU. I gained experiences in procedures such as NGT/ PEG tube feeding, tracheostomy cleaning and suctioning, administering oxygen and nebulization, operating mechanical lifts, performing bed bath, and wound care as well. Aside from these, I worked as a Health Care Aide in a senior’s facility which catered to Assisted and Supportive Living, and Dementia Care. Currently, I am working as a Private Caregiver to an individual with Dementia.
