My name is Pamela, I am PSW certified, I have been working as PSW and Companion care for about 4 years, I am friendly, easy going, a caring person and personality, and will go the 'extra mile' on any job. I am from originally from Trinidad and Tobago, which is English speaking and mixed cultures. My professional background is Secretarial/Administrative, my hobbies are floral and balloon designs. One of my interests are various religions and its music. I enjoy the company of the seniors, they are a wealth of knowledge, and might have been professionals in their working lives, which most people seems to forget. My Mom who was 86 years old, is one of my experience with the elderly, and I also worked part time at an elderly home for a short time ( in Trinidad) this was just helping with meals and company. My mom was mobile but needed a transport chair for long distance walking. I have had all my vaccines required by the Health Care systems. I have worked in the customer service field, product demonstration and I am food handler's certification, and workplace safety certified. I have 4 years hands on experience working in Home/companion care. I am PSW qualified, trained in Long term care and community care. Assisted my mom who was 86 years old. Care for senior persons depends on their status of health and mobility. I can assist in their activities of daily living and companionship.
