I am a semi-retired librarian who enjoys working with people and loves local history. I have a small personal business writing memoirs for seniors, which I combine with home companion/care. I am physically fit and love walking, bicycling, and gardening. I enjoy animals. I am always eager to explore new recipes and generally am committed to healthy eating. I have lived a year at an ashram and continue with some Buddhist practices. Willing to share what I've learned and a daily Hatha yoga practice - on the mat or in a chair. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh. I already have a police check from my work at the library but am willing to get another more current one.

I have experience caring for my mother and my father-in-law. My mother's care was after surgery and I assisted her with personal care, household chores, cooking, groceries, etc. My father-in-law fell and broke his arm.
