my name is Khristine and I am a 35-year-old woman with 4 years of experience in senior/health care. I am currently residing in Scarborough and I am looking for a part-time position as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker. I have a Caregiver/Companion, Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate, Health Care Aides (HCA) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate, all obtained from college. I am available to start on October 1st, 2023, and my preferred working arrangement is live-out. I have a flexible schedule and can work on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. On these days, I am available in the morning, middle of the day, evening, and night. With my qualifications, I am capable of performing various duties, including housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, running errands, assisting with walking, and escorting to appointments. I also have experience in providing bathing assistance, supervising and assisting with Alzheimer/Dementia care, Parkinson care, lifts and transfers, patient positioning, dressing grooming assistance, toileting assistance, and range of motion exercises. I am comfortable working in different settings such as home health care, retirement homes, and clinics/hospitals. Throughout my career, I have worked with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Stroke, Incontinence (diapers), Osteoporosis, Arthritis, and Hearing Impairment. I do not smoke, I have a valid driver's license although I do not have a vehicle for work purposes, and I am not able to swim well.
