Hello, my name is Ricki, and I am currently a nursing student at the University of Regina. It has always been a dream of mine to care for others, from a baby to an elder, I believe every age is so beautiful and very rewarding to work with. I first started caring for young children when I was 16 years old, babysitting for friends and family. In 2019 I moved to the states and was a nanny for a family with two girls. It was truly an amazing experience and now I consider them family. As my schooling started to advance I found a job at the local hospital back in my home town and over the last two years I have been caring for residents in a long-term care facility. It was a very special job and I have grown greatly as a person and future nurse because of it. I am fully vaccinated due to my past position as a Care Aide and I understand how important it is to keep safe right now. With my recent move to Regina I am looking for a fresh start, to find another amazing family, and to meet many new faces and smiles.

I am a second year Nursing student at the University of Regina, I have been a Care Aide for the last two years working in a hospital setting as well as a retirement home. I have experience working with dementia, palliative, and elderly residents and or patients. I have assisted all ages with their everyday tasks and activities such as, bathing, dressing, toileting, mouth care, feeding, transferring, light housekeeping, and much more.
