I am a 54year old mother of two children, girl 23, and my son 29. I enjoy children tremendously, I am one of 13 children myself. I am originally from a small village on the Quebec North Shore. I love many outdoor activities, from snowshoeing, tubing, in the winter to swimming, camping, traveling in the summer. I love to do cross stitch for quilting, it is my favorite pass time. I was employed by the Federal Government for 15 years as a administrative assistant. I had made a complete career change and have decided to go into care giving, my first love.. I want to enjoy each day as I go to work and being in the, caregiver, housekeeping role is what I want to do for the years to come. I am very dependable and honest and always seem to have time to do a little more than what is required of me. I have years of experience of caring for the elderly as my experience includes working both in a nursing home and private care. I am responsible to get the client out of bed and tend to all daily care needs. I was responsible for feeding, bathing and getting to bed. I have been responsible to do meal preparation, grocery list and shopping, banking, cleaning of the household and cooking. Getting client to and from activities.
