I was born in Viking, Alberta. I lived in Camrose, Alberta for the majority of my life, but am now currently living in Okotoks. I am a single individual who hopes to have a family of my own some day, as I have always had a very nurturing character and found joy in working with children. I have nieces and nephews that I adore, and close friends whose children consider me to be "aunty" as well. I very much enjoy creativity. I love fitness, photography, drawing, painting, graphic design, music (playing piano and singing), and writing. I love to laugh and make others laugh as well. I have experience working with a child with Autism as well as his two younger siblings for roughly three years (2006-2009). That included helping the child with his homework, helping him learn how to deal with his frustration, anger, and communication skills. I made meals for the three children, put them to bed, cleaned the house, did laundry when needed, and I almost always worked independently. Every once in a while I would be needed to work over night. I have quite a bit of babysitting/nanny experience since then. I have two dogs, so dogs are not a problem for me. I am however allergic to cats so that would be an issue. I also have knowledge and understanding of depression/anxiety and can be extremely supportive and helpful to your child/children if this is something they struggle with.

I do not have experience with any profession housekeeping jobs. I have however done volunteer cleaning jobs. I also kept the home clean where I was doing child care for roughly three years, as well as other babysitting jobs. That included keeping the kitchen tidy, doing dishes, sweeping floors, mopping when needed, changing the garbage when needed, vacuuming pet hair from rugs and furniture, as well as doing laundry if needed. I was not required to do all of the cleaning but most of the time I did as much of it as I could so it would be easier for the parents when they got home. I am a very organized idividual that values a clean and tidy environment. I think it's important to live an organized and clean lifestyle. Our environments affect our mental state and it's important to look after the spaces we spend our time in.
