June 29, 2018 Dear Potential Employer of Cecille, We are pleased to provide this letter of reference for Cecille. Cecille joined our family as a live in caregiver in February of 2015. At the time, our three children were ages 1, 4, and 6. We both work full time and I travel for work occasionally. Over the past 3. 5 years, Cecille has become part of our family. Our child care needs have changed and we are sad that we are parting ways July 2018. Cecille is primarily focused on our children 's safety and well being. Her and our youngest child Reid, who is now 4, have a very special bond. She spend hours upon hours with him playing board games and reading books. Upon joining us, she quickly found her place in our community of Moore Park and made sure that she and Reid were out and about every day. Reid is starting kindergarten in September and his readiness is certainly due to the attention and guidance he has received from Cecille. With our older children she is kind and patient. She has helped them to become caring and independent school- aged children. She helps them to organize their belongings without doing everything for them. For example, while she does laundry, they put away their clothes. She makes their lunches, but they pack their backpacks. We often come home to her playing soccer with our children in the back yard. She also makes sure they are ready for activities such as hockey, swimming or music class. She walks with the children to their local activities and to school and back. Cecille always keeps our house in a tidy state, which is no small fea. She stays on top of the laundry and also helps the children pack their bags for weekend trips. Cecille likes to cook and follow recipes. Our children love her stir-fried rice. Every evening we come home to children who are happy, fed and loved.
