II am a 62 year old mother of 4 grown children and a grandmother of 8 grandchildren, I have always enjoyed cleaning and with having 4 children I am lucky I did lol, my main career throughout the years has been in the health care area but was always very organized while nursing, after being a care aid for many many years I decided to step out of taking physical care of the resident to becoming the Houskeeping supervisor of a care facility for which gave me so much satisfaction because I was still working with the elderly and taking care of their home, I had the best of both worlds, while working as a Houskeeping supervisor I took many courses like infection control, and transport of dangerous goods, and cleaning auditing, I am defiantly a clean freak, because I get such satisfaction in walking into a disaster and cleaning it. After working in the facility for 6 years I decided to step into the hotel business for which I became the manager of a hotel that has 116 rooms and a conference centre that holds up to 500 guests, I would manage staff of 15-20 and control all aspects of the housekeeping department, all my training in the health care became very helpful, and being a hotel manager I had to keep the highest of standards in the hotel for which I succeeded. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
