All of my professional housekeeping experience was gained from nanny/housekeeper positions. My housekeeping responsibilities were mainly day-to-day maintenance cleaning which included: - Dishwashing, unloading of dishwasher, organization of clean dishes - Dusting, disinfecting and polishing surfaces as needed (kitchen countertops, coffee, dining, cabinets, bathroom sink, bathroom countertops, bedroom furniture) - Sweeping and mopping floors - Daily organizing (ensuring children's items such as dirty laundry, shoes, toys are in designated homes) - Vacuuming carpets as needed - Linen laundry (sheets and towels) - Bed making - Garbage sorting and removal Biweekly deep cleaning days included: - Cleaning bathroom (bathtub, sink, toilet, mopping floors) - Thorough dusting and cleaning (cleaning wall stains, wiping baseboards, sweeping below and behind furniture, cleaning doors and doorknobs, furniture fronts, kitchen cabinet fronts) I consider myself a very tidy and clean person so I have extensive experience in my own personal cleaning of my space. I have developed my own systems that help me complete task fast and efficiently. I am also a great organizer and I can find solutions to a wide range of organization problems within a home. I organize with aesthetics, functionality and sustainability in mind.
