My name is Estrella and I am currently completing the Training for Foreign Caregivers at TLC Edmonton, where I am learning about Child Development, Guiding Young Children, Elderly Care, Disability Care, Nutrition, Cooking, Communication, First Aid/CPR.
I am a skilled and experienced caregiver, looking for a full time position in Edmonton and surrounding area. I am very easy to get along with and easily fit in to different family situations. TLC International Training Center for Caregiving Inc. offers the TLC Enriched Caregiving Program. This program is registered with the Government of Alberta as a �Designated Learning Institution�. This means that the curriculum is constantly being upgraded to be in compliance with Alberta�s Caregiving Regulations. This Program is seven- months in length and delivers practicum and training in all aspect of Caregiving for, Infant Development, Child Development, Senior�s, and Disability. This program also includes a St. John�s Ambulance First Aide/ AED Certificate and a Certificate for a Police record and vulnerable sector check.

Childcare
I would like to start working as a full-time Nanny in Edmonton (or its surrounding areas) this summer. I am looking for a long-term position and would like to stay with you at least two years. I am a honest, committed and reliable worker and have extensive experience taking care of children of all ages, both professionally as a nanny and daycare volunteer (Edmonton), as well as privately (raised my two now grown children).
Elderly Care
I also have experience taking care of seniors, both in the context of my volunteer position in a senior centre (Capital Care Lynwood), as well as privately. I have provided care for my father who was hospitalized and later for my aunt. I assisted her in all aspects of personal hygiene, incl. feeding, bathing, dressing, diaper changes, administered medication, supported range of motion exercises and provided companionship.
