My name is Beant , a passionate and caring woman in my 20s, currently residing in North Bay. Being a final-year Early Childhood Education student at Canadore College, I am seeking a fulfilling role as a Nanny, Babysitter or a Mother's Helper. I can commence work immediately and am open to both live-in and live-out arrangements.
Having completed enriching placements at YMCA and North Bay Day Care, I have been privileged to gain significant exposure in this field. This hands-on experience, combined with my theoretical knowledge, has shaped in me a strong belief that real-life learning shapes children in a holistic manner, contributing not just to their intellect, but also to their emotional, physical and spiritual growth. My experience also includes working with children with special needs and those in different age groups - from newborns to pre-teens.
Other aspects of my experience include skills related to household chores. I am capable of cooking, performing light housekeeping tasks, running errands and grocery shopping. Ensuring that children under my care eat healthy and nutritious meals, as well as maintaining their laundry will be a part of my responsibilities.
Even though I do not own a vehicle nor hold a driver's license, I am willing to travel or relocate if required. I am also a capable swimmer and a non-smoker. I can comfortably manage up to two children at a time. Since I speak English, Hindi and Punjabi, I can assist in language development in kids too.
In addition to my ongoing Early Childhood Education studies, I have also completed High School and hold certification in First Aid and CPR. My association with Walmart Garden Centre and Staples as a Bell Wireless consultant has equipped me with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, making me adept at interacting effectively with kids of all kinds.
