In April of 2017, I gave up my full time job as a PSW with Community Care Durham, to start my own business as a private care worker. I have had several full time, clients over the years, and have assisted many clients and their families through their final days. I’ve worked for a couple agencies, and long term care facilities, and feel that the clients have much greater needs than what they are offered through these government run services. For this reason, I ventured on my own, and have been much more satisfied knowing I can tailor my ‘work’ to the needs of the client.
