Are you organized, detail focused, task-oriented, and good at managing households? We're a couple of busy professionals seeking an efficient House Manager to assist in maintaining a well-kept home in our downtown Condo. As we do not have kids or pets, this role is more akin to home management rather than traditional nanny duties.
The position requires an approximately 40-hours monthly commitment, spread across the weekdays for 2 hours each day. There is potential for additional hours as the need arises.
Your tasks will mainly center around maintaining the interior cleanliness of our home along with the immediate surrounding areas. This involves an assortment of tasks including kitchen cleaning (dishes, inside and outside of fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors), laundry (washing, drying clothing, and household items), meal preparation and service, and grocery shopping along with errands.
We are also looking for someone to take responsibility for our household necessities to ensure we are fully stocked at all times, and take care of garden and household plants. Other tasks include rotating seasonal clothing in closets, maintaining the pantry, routinely disposing of spoiled items, bed making, linen changing, and travel arrangements on behalf of your employers. Lastly, the cleaning duties might extend to the exteriors of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher and occasionally, ironing will be required.
Having a driver's license is mandatory as the role requires occasional errands and grocery shopping. Owning a vehicle is preferred, as you will be required to use your own car.
