Two words: Camp Counsellor. I am ready for anything after working at an overnight summer camp for 6 years. My specialty is young children or as we called them "peewees " as well as working with children with exceptionalities (ASD, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, etc). I also work for the city of Mississauga during March Break. During my camp jobs I was responsible for creating activities, encouraging, educating and generally taking care of children from the ages of 3-14. I was placed with girls cabins and boys cabins so I can work with either gender. I have a book filled with fun, unique and diverse activities. I also love to do crafts and be outdoors as much as possible. A little bit about myself. I am 22 years old and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA. I have a lot of energy and have played pretty much every sport I could. I was a competitive dancer for 14 years, I played hockey, softball, soccer and compete in downhill ski racing. My general hobbies include: all sports, singing, dancing, swimming, hiking, photography, reading and just talking. I come from a loving family of 5 with an older sister as well as a twin brother. I have my NLS (which means I am a lifegaurd), I have my Standard First Aid with CPR-C as well as my Emergency First Aid and am trained to use an AED. All of my jobs included extensive training so I am well qualified to look after children.
