Hello, My name is JJ and my passion and love is taking care of families and their children, as I am not able to have my own and I am far from my own family. I have a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Child & Youth Studies with Applied Linguistics and I was going to be Speech and Language Pathologist. My experience with children is quite extensive. I have been a Nanny/House Manager/Personal and Executive Assistant for over 14 years. I have volunteered with numerous children charities and I have done placements in a co-op pre-school as well as within a speech therapy clinic for children. I have worked with high profile families and traveled worldwide with them providing the parents with personal and executive assistance, while managing the home budgets, constructions, maintenance and I have worked with children as young as a new born and watched them grow into healthy children. I have done extensive research along with studies on the benefits of a child's healthy development and I have the ability to provide a range of services to any family. At this time I am open for a full-time job, or a live-in position. I have amazing references as well as a Nexus which shows a clear police background check, which includes a vulnerable sector clearance. I feel as though I have a unique skill set that will assist any family if the fit is right, and I would be an ideal fit with a busy family, or a single parent or may need also overnight or weekend assistance. I am willing and able to travel without requiring a Visa as a Canadian with the family and maintain households, while be an active educational nanny to the children, and assistant to the parents. I have extensive experience in working with high profile families. I have done a large variety of jobs for these families such as; Nanny, Night Nurse, House Manager, Personal and Executive Assistant and traveled with these families and managed everything for all their home/needs around the world. I am willing to on weekdays evening/overnight, weekends and nights, and if I am needed during the holidays. I loved traveling anywhere with the family, and I am able to travel easily with my Nexus and being a born Canadian. I have been a personal and Executive assistant for high profile and C-level Executives and did a large range of tasks to support them while maintaining all my other roles. I managed schedules, booked meeting, planned large events, planned and executed detailed work and family travels. I managed all construction and staff that came in and out of the homes. One of the families I worked with had a 3 year old, and newborn twins. I had been with them since before the twins were born and I had been Mom's right hand person ever since. I have helped their 3 year old with his speech delays as well as with catching up in his development. I managed weekly cleaning staff, gardeners and contractors with the upmost respect and professionalism. I organized the entire home including closets, cuboards, and all other areas of the home. I traveled with this family for long periods of time with very little notice. I have a very deep bond with the children I work with and I still visit with this family on a weekly basis (I can walk into this home today and have the children run into my arms with pure love and excitement). I have worked with a Canadian family who lives in Thailand for the winter months, travels across Europe during the summer/fall, and lives in Oakville/South Carolina during the summer months. Every summer they travel here to Canada with their now 7 year old son, who I took care of for many years while they were in North America until their son went into school. I also assisted them for months traveling across Europe until they traveled home and again I am extremely close with this family still today. I have a great deal of experience with high profile families who require a high amount of privacy and complete confidentiality. These families needed me to be flexible and available at a moments notice as well as assist them with many different aspects of their life. I have worked with a unique set of skills now for over 14 years so I could talk for hours about my experience with the families and their children of all ages.
