My name is Michelle. I am a stay at home mom to a 7 yr old girl and 5 yr old boy. Prior to Covid-19, I provided private, in-home childcare to children of various ages. A bit of background: - I am a honours graduate of the child and youth program from Brock University - I have prior working experience in the therapeutic recreation department in a nursing home in St. Catharines, ON. I am NOT a PSW, therefore I am not qualified to shower or help with toileting. I provide social interaction and activities, as well as can help with housekeeping and meal prep. - Prior to going off on mat leave with my eldest, I worked in schools providing social skills programs to children aged 4-12. Worked hand in hand with FACS and Pathstones Niagara - I am Bilingual in English and french

I have a lot of experience working with children in different settings. My most current work was served in elementary schools delivering a social skills program called SNAP. I have also worked in numerous summer camps, front-line work working with behavioural children in a group home, as well as volunteer experience with our church's youth group, instructor at a dance school, as well as other family oriented programs.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth studies from Brock University
