Dear family, I am a journalism graduate and have 5 years child care experience as well as being the lucky auntie to three nieces and two nephews. who I absolutely adore. I love reading, walking in parks, swimming, cycling, dog walking, sliding down tube slides like a big kid and ice cream, lots and lots of ice cream. I have recently just finished two part time contracts. One child was 3 months old when I started working with the family and the other family I worked for, the child was 1 years old. They are both now of age to go to day care. As such my duties with one family have sadly finished (even though I still get to visit whenever I want) And the other I occasionally work, as and when they need me. Previous to that, I spent a year working in a day school. In the mornings I was a shadow for a four year old. A challenged I greatly enjoyed and we became a great team (myself and the child) that worked well together. In the afternoons I was a teaching assitent in the Pre K class. I had so much fun and have gained valuable experience. I also have a valid health and safety that is good for another 6 months. ***previous*** I spent three years working for the same family in England, at the beginning the children I cared for was a 3 year old little boy and a 11year old girl. I would take Carla to school in the morning after getting her and her brother, Jack, dressed (breakfast as well) while Carla was at school, Jack and I would go for a walk in the morning to the park, come home and make lunch, then we would do some number games or drawing exercises. We would then go pick Carla up from school and I would help her with any home work and then make dinner for them both. At weekends I would take them swimming or down the beach if the weather was nice. Carla had horse riding lessons as well. I have also looked after my nieces and nephews from new born. The references I am giving is for two people who's baby's I have looked after recently. As the above family was a few years ago and these are more recent..

I have all 9 GCSES all grade C and above. I also have a media access course qualification and a HND in journalism.
