October 1st, 2017 To whom it may concern, CAROL POLLONI 102 -1032 Nicola St. Vancouver, BC V6G 2C9 I was extremely fortunate to have Nery Gocon as caregiver for the past two years for my mother who suffered from advanced dementia. Nery was by far the best caregiver my mother had during her illness. Nery is an extremely caring individual and I never had any concerns when she was alone with my mother. In fact, she was the one that interacted most with my mother and it showed as my motherís face would always light up when Nery came for her shift. Because of that interaction, Nery would be the first to notice any changes with my motherís health and would quickly bring it to my attention so we could deal with it before it got worse. My mother was al When my mother moved into a care home, Nery graciously stayed in my employment and helped my mother with the transition. Iím so glad she did as there were many times that she was able to advocate for my mother when procedures were not being properly followed. When my mom passed away in early August we were all shocked and sad. Not only did my brother and I lose our mother, but we also lost Nery who had become part of the family. Luckily for us, we still manage to stay in touch. I would have no trouble whatsoever recommending Nery for employment. She is extremely loyal, trustworthy and caring. It is very hard to find someone with all those qualities and Nery is one of those rare finds. Sincerely, Carol Polloni
