I am a young woman looking for a summer job. I have had a variety of experiences working with children and am just finishing up the school year working as an Educational Assistant. Before then I worked 2-3 years in a preschool, So I do have my level 1 certificate as well. I am just back home for the summer as I am attending a university down in southern Alberta to do a modern languages French and Spanish Education Program. I do not speak these fluently as I am still at the beginner stages. I grew up with two parents and they both came to Alberta. my mum is from England so I am part British but I was born in Canada and so was my dad so I am also part Canadian. It does take me a little while to get used to pets I am fine with cats once I get to know them but unfortunately not dogs. I have a large interest in music as I love to sing, play instruments such as : piano, guitar, ukulele, trombone, flute. Piano I have played for 16 years now and flute for about a 1 1/2 years and trombone I played in Junior High. The rest of the instruments I just do for fun. I have also been singing since I was 8 and have entered a few contests and have also done musical numbers in church. I am only looking for a full-time or part time job for July and August as I will be heading back to post-secondary. I also love to teach myself dance, I did ballet through a studio for one year and then I have taught myself tap for 2 years but I still need to work on it a lot. I love to swim and workout I don't have any qualifications but I still enjoy it, and I have recently for about 2 years now have picked up on knitting. I also love to play basketball but just for fun. I do have a vehicle and am willing to travel to have a fun summer if needed or just spend time in Lethbridge in and outside the areas.

Work Experience Footprints 4 Learning Preschool Oct 2013 – June 2014 Student Teacher and Child Development Assistant May 2015 –June 2015 • Record academic progress of students • Assisted in teaching new activities • Supported students with opening lockers and preparing them to go outside • Responsible for planning and implementing weekly themed craft activities • Interacting with children during creative play time Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Rate is negotiable depending on the amount of kids (example only: if you have 6 kids you don't get the pay rate for 12/hr, because that would only be 2 dollars per kid but as long as it is a fair amount I am willing to negotiate if needed. I am willing to work with special needs children but it depends how severe because I don't have the experience yet but am willing to learn but I just want to make sure you would be comfortable with me as well. I actually have 1 year experience plus 2 months working with kids in a preschool and 2 years as a babysitter when I was 12-14 even though my account is saying I don't and I do have a letter of reference just not sure how to upload it.

I finished High School in June of 2013 and received my diploma, took a year off and worked in a preschool. Then In fall 2014 I have started at the U of L in Modern Languages Education French and Spanish (I do not speak these fluently I am learning them in my degree), then came back for the summer worked in a preschool for May and June, and am trying to find a job for July and August.
