I have many decades of experience caring for children. I ran my own home daycare for ten years. I worked in a preschool for three years. Since April 2014 I have been working in an Infant/Toddler Centre. The first year I worked with babies. Then the next year and a half I switched to our second centre to work with 19 mth old to 3 year olds. From Feb 1 2016 I I became a live in nanny/housekeeper. I have just finished this position as the boys will now be in school fulltime. I have three adult children of my own and 5 grandchildren. I have worked with children who have special needs.

My education has been mostly hands on with the exception of the guidance I received thru the Queen Alexander Children's Hospital while my son was an in/out patient for 13 years. I have cared for special needs children with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADD, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder. I also cared for two infants with compromised immune systems as they had been born prematurely at 1 1/2 lbs. I worked with a preschooler with life threatening allergies.
