In addition to my fun and energetic personality, I consider myself a very creative and nurturing role model for younger people. I posses a plentiful arsenal of secret handshakes, riddles, stories, hugs, sing-a-long songs, dance routines, cheers, crafts ideas, snacks, and of course, nicknames. In hopes to help keep the children I care for happy, I always keep a joke in my back pocket. It's important that I foster a positive environment for myself and the children I take care of, acknowledging all that we have to be grateful for on a daily basis. My go-getter mindset always strives to go above and beyond expectations of my employers, the children I care for, and also myself. Additionally, I have strong communication skills that help me to team up with parents to best meet the needs of their children. I am Interested in more care taking opportunities in my community. I have been living outside the city for just over 1 year now, having spent most of my younger years in California and Washington state. I’ve mainly worked as a full time nanny for 3 endearing girls ages 4, 6 and 8 in Vancouver. My childcare experience consists of over 13 years of nannying, babysitting, supervising, as well as managing a remote soccer camp in the Okanagan valley. My main role there was to train children's skills and knowledge of the sport, as well as organizing the operations of the camp. These experiences have taught me very valuable management, adaptability and organizational skills, which I look forward to developing more in my career.
