I have spent years working with children in a variety of capacities. I have worked as a babysitter since the age of 13. I have gone away on vacation with clients and have maintained great relationships over the years and have been brought back to watch their animals and have been referred to their friends. I have worked at the YMCA teaching swimming lessons and as a camp counsellor and as an animator in the after school program. I also have training as a therapist specializing in working with children using drama therapy as well as with families and couples. I have also worked in a nursery with very young infants for two years. I am currently going to take a year off of my clinical work and am looking for a job that allows me to work with children. I am creative and sensitive to the needs of a child. I will not put your child in front of a television I will engage them in a variety of activities. I am not afraid to do house work or cooking should the job require. I am open to taking care of pets as well. The families that I have worked for in the past have become my extended family because I love this type of work and give it my all. Children find me fun, out-going and able to connect with them even when they are upset.
