Hello, my name is Kendra and I am a friendly and energetic 20 year old girl just finishing up my second year of University, in the field of Psychology. I had the lovely opportunity to nanny for a family with two children, ages 2 and 6, this past summer and would love to have more nanny experiences. (Reference can be provided upon request. ) I will let you know a little about myself. I grew up in a small rural town in Nova Scotia, and just moved to Alberta last summer to attend University. My family is originally from Switzerland, but I was raised here in Canada since the age of 2. I am the youngest of three children and come from an interactive, loving family :) My hobbies and interests include horse back riding (as I grew up on a horse farm before relocating closer to a city in my teens) reading, running and traveling. Naturally I love the outdoors as I grew up playing on the beaches of the coast and exploring the vast woods of Nova Scotia. I am a very understanding and empathetic person, and communicate well with diverse personalities. This is part in reason why I am interested in pursuing a career in Psychology. I am very interested in child development, and value the importance of creating a nurturing, supportive, and loving environment for children to grow and learn in. Valuing the time of others, I take pride in being reliable, punctual and organized. I have been babysitting since I was 14 and truly enjoy looking after small kids, as remember, I am the baby of my own family :) Having had the experience of being a nanny for two wonderful children this past summer, I look forward to having new nanny experiences in the future. Most recently I had the lovely experience of being a nanny for two children, ages 2 and 6. I have been babysitting since I was 14. Since relocating to my last home during my teens with my family, I provided regular babysitting for two neighboring families. One family, the children were 2 and 7 when I began watching them, and the other family the children were 9 and 10. Although I do not have experience with newborn children nor children with special needs, I would be happy and willing to learn how to care for them by the family, if they'd see fit :) Additional Experiences/Qualifications: CPR & First Aid Training
