  About Me

Hello. Im a fourth year psychology student at the University of Victoria, and am excited to be specializing in child psychology. My professional experience with children includes several years of babysitting/ nannying experience, building relationships with children through volunteering. with Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada, and most recently, I spent three months at a childrens shelter working with sixty amazing children in Nepal for a psychology internship supported by UVIC. I can always remember having a love for bonding with babies and kids. Spending time with children means getting in touch with my own inner child, and I value the relationships I have created with children in the past, as they have brought my bubbly, energetic, patient, and grounded side to the surface. As a nanny I would ensure to display confidence, kindness, connection and love towards the kids through spending time in nature, reading books, creating art, and having fun. I have experience with being responsible for children as young as 6 months, to as old as 15 years old, as well as being comfortable taking care of children with varying disabilities and caring for multiple children at once. I would love to build on my experience in the childcare field while leaving a positive and nurturing impact on the children's lives. Childcare references are available upon request.
