My name is Leah, and I am back home in Toronto after living in the UK for several years working as a 1:1 in a classroom in Wales, and as a nanny/governess for a high profile family in London. I currently finishing my degree online at Ryerson University in Child & Youth Development. Working with children is my absolute passion. I love implementing creative & educational activities and actively engaging children in all sorts of indoor & outdoor play. I have looked after children of all ages, ranging from newborns to school age. I have worked in a daycare for 2 years and volunteered in school classrooms and children’s charities for 5 years. I have also run a preschool soccer program on weekend mornings for children 18 months to 7 years old. **As I have ECE and classroom experience, I am especially interested in families looking for a tutor or educator willing to implement a play based curriculum as an alternative to preschool or daycare during these unprecedented times. I understand that leaving your children in the care of someone else is a big decision and definitely not an easy one, I want to help you feel at ease knowing your children are in amazing care with me.
