Hello. My name is Melisa and I have worked as a nanny for the last 5 years. I have also raised my own children who are now 18 and 19 years old. I am able to care for babies, toddlers and older children and I know how to integrate play, learning and fun. I love what I do and children have always gravitated towards me. I was working for 3 families on the North Shore. In the early mornings I was with 2 girls helping them get ready for school, preparing breakfast, packing their lunches and walking them to school. During the day I kept busy with a 4 year old. I would pick her up from preschool, take her to swim lessons and sports, we would play and have picnics in the park. We baked together, did arts and crafts and danced. In the afternoon, I nannied for a family with 3 children (picking them up from school, helping with homework, arranging play dates, driving them to and from their after school activities/sports and prepped snacks and dinners) I also do light housekeeping (pick up groceries and laundry) and can walk the family dog if required. I am very clean, organized, happy, friendly, easy-going, relaxed and patient. I enjoy getting outside, going on walks, making crafts and having fun. I am available Monday-Friday. I have raised 2 children of my own, which I believe I have done a pretty good job, as they have grown up to be sweet, loving, well-behaved, respectful teenagers. I have been nannying for the past few years, currently working for 2 families (early morning/before school care and after school care) I feel confident in knowing that I can look after children of all ages. I am sweet, loving, nurturing and very patient. I enjoy reading, playing, going to the park and walking.
