My name is Jennifer, I am a 23 years old with energy to keep up with children. I enjoy the outdoors and believe that it is the best place for children to grow and play. I have a cheery personality and love to smile. I am a caring, hard working, energetic and fun loving caregiver who enjoys playing games, arts and crafts and reading. I started working as a baby sitter for various families 8 years ago and have since worked with children that ranged from the ages of 10 months to 12 years old. I find great pleasure in helping them grow and experience new things.

Before Covid, I was working consistently with a family who had a 4 year old and a 10 month old. I would pick up them up from their daycare and take them back to their home where I would make them snacks and cook supper for the family. During the evenings, I would play games, crafts and draw with the 4 year old. With the 10 month old, I would prepare her bottles, put her down for naps, used her toys to help her develop motor skills, encourage her when she started walking and talking. Additionally, I would take them both outside for games and outings to the park, general cleaning, laundry, dishes, and vacuuming. My previous experience also includes teaching children ages 4-12, English as a second language in a Montreal language school. I created various crafts related to the weekly themes, activities and games, read stories and sang songs. It was important that I adapted to the needs to each group of kids depending on their interests and ages. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have worked in two restaurants as a dish washer for an accumulated time of a year and a half. My duties included: Washing dishes, Sweeping, Mopping, Washing machinery, washing walls, organizing the refrigerator and light meal perp. These jobs also helped me developed my time management skills and maintain a clean work area.

I completed my AEC at Herzing College in Business Administration from 2019 to 2020 and obtained my high school certificate from Beurling Academy.
