I am: - energetic/fit - trustworthy/emotionally mature - friendly/positive - flexible/adaptable - humour goes a long way I raised my son on my own with love, good judgment, humour and discipline through positive reinforcement while as well volunteering at his school. As the eldest daughter, I 'helped' my mother raise my 4 siblings, including twins. I believe we have something to learn from children of all ages. Respect is taught and earned and is a two way street so it is key to all good relationships. I was taught "a place for everything, everything in its place" and am therefore neat, organised and a good multi-tasker. Keeping and sharing the responsibility of a tidy home is part of bringing up a responsible little being who feels part of the process and respects it while growing up. I cook and am comfortable in the kitchen. I can prepare meal plans and shop accordingly. I drive (standard as well as automatic) so can also run personal errands and take children to appointments and activities outside the home. I would like to find a loving family that believes in mutual trust and respect, who will recognize my assortment of skills and attributes. Yes, I am born, raised, educated in Canada.
