My interests/hobbies include baking/cooking; gardening; curling, skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter; golfing, hiking, biking, and canoeing in the summer. I was a teacher and principal for 30+ years and have been retired my most for 7 years. I raised 4 boys (now ages 38, 35, 30, 27) while maintaining a full-time career, but had a day nanny to look after my children before they began school, and I fully understand the demands of a working mother. After so many years in the educational field, I felt it was time to retire but intend to continue productively filling my days. As a teacher and administrator, not only did I endeavor to meet the academic needs of my students, but also their social, emotional, physical, and environmental needs. I spent my classroom teaching career in the primary division (JK - 3) before moving into an administrative role.
