Hi, I am now available to provide part-time childcare services, including before and after school care and or regular child sitting. My preference is to provide the childcare in my own home, however, depending on the job, I can also provide care services in your home. I have more experience with children than most; I have my own car; a perfect driving record; a recent police and RCMP background check having no criminal activity. I am punctual, reliable, structured, and very creative. I take pride in my ability to build trusting relationships with children and further explore those great qualities each child has. I am excellent with behavioral issues or problems. I have experience with ADHD children. I have common rules around the house and home, however, my ability to win children over generally makes following the rules fun. Childcare, for me, is such a fun and rewarding experience. I also think it is important to keep regular communication between myself and the parents. I am flexible, enjoy taking children for outings, and I am willing to do a little extra, such as take a child to an appointment or give full care at home when a child is sick

I have cared for children off and on throughout the past 30 years. And I have raised my own family, my grandson and now provide support for my great grand daughter.. However I am not as old nor crippled as this may sound. :-)

My education and on site training with children was at a private institution having very effective confidence building weekend courses for young 8 to 12 yo and teens 13 to 18 yo, in Vancouver, BC.
