Hello. My name is Alexandra and I am currently completing my last year of teachers college. I have enjoyed working with children my entire life and look forward to the opportunity to continue in this line of work. I have been babysitting since the age of 12 and instructing hockey/skating since the age of 14. I worked with children ages 3-12 in summer day camps, children 4-16 in drama/musical theatre classes, and have run a home daycare for children between the ages of 1 to 4 for the last two summers. My varying roles in working with children of all ages have shaped me into an aspiring teacher with a love for children. I am based out of Hamilton and Etobicoke. I began babysitting at the age of 11, and worked regularly over the years with various families and children ranging from infants-12 yrs. I did volunteer work with local hockey leagues, as well as skating and hockey instruction with the City of Toronto for children ages 3-15. I have worked in a summer camp with the City of Toronto for the past 3 summers with children aged 3-15, instructing golf, sports, musical theatre, and various other skills. I have also participated in numerous volunteer positions within French and English classrooms. I am currently an aspiring teacher, and frequently take part in educational placement opportunities.
