  About Me
Hi, my name is Adrienne. I am a 25-year-old former radio host who has been nannying professionally since July 2016. I began my nannying career with school-aged charges but over the last two years, have cared for infants and inevitably, toddlers. I am currently in a 'nanny-share' and spend my weekdays with two boys under 2.

I like to think I am pretty well-equipped to be an awesome caregiver. I spent nearly 10 years babysitting before I decided to pursue nannying full-time. In June 2018, I took part in a 2-hour infant choking and CPR class. I also completed the Red Cross babysitter's course many moons ago. I currently do not have my infant first aid and CPR certificate but I am motivated to get that as soon as possible. If that is a requirement for your family, I assure you that I would be totally on board to complete it before a start date. That also goes for any other training or caregiver courses you might want me to take.

Above and beyond my typical "nanny skills" I have experience with baby led weaning, cloth diapering, teaching baby sign language and also French as a second language.

I am also familiar with Montessori and potty training.

My every day approach is to communicate with children in a respectful, and enriching way. When it comes to infants and toddlers, I try my best to 'connect the dots' in their world. There is a wealth of knowledge hidden in every day duties, trips out of the house, and the books and objects we have in our homes. I am constantly surprised by just how spongey and absorbent babies minds are, so I facilitate learning in as many ways possible. I am a huge fan of library programs and any other immersive learning-through-play activities.

I have had my license since 2015 and currently lease a 2015 Chevy Cruze. I am comfortable driving children and installing car seats.
