Hello there. My name is Accalia and I am a 19 year old girl from Dundas with a love and passion for childcare and every attribute that comes along with helping to care for a child or to assist in shaping the path they are growing towards. I graduated from high school when I was 18 and in my last semester of post secondary I did a co-op placement at Canadian Martyrs Elementary school in a grade two classroom. Getting the chance to have a placement there for a full semester really helped me come to the conclusion that being a teacher and being around kids is what makes me happy and is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I don't have too many hobbies or interests but when I am not with family or friends I am cooking up whatever recipe I can or cleaning/organising whatever needs doing I find a lot of peace and accomplishment in doing so. I have been baking and cooking since I could remember so I have absolutely no problem being in the kitchen for hours. I am also planning on going to Mohawk in January for Early Childhood Education (ECE).

My childcare work experience started when I was 10 years old. I began babysitting my twin brothers and once they got too old I babysat for friends and family on many occasions during the duration of 9 years. I also have 5 months of co-op experience.
