Hello :) My name is Verónica and I am 23 years old. I moved to Canada 5 years ago with my family from South America. I recently graduated from Mount Royal University with a major in Sociology, though I do plan on going to law school or do a masters in the near future. As a recent graduate, I’m hoping to work for a year or more in order to prepare for grad school and save some money. Because of this, I can’t guarantee 100 that I’ll be able to stay with a family for more than a year and a half, however, if things work out once I start grad school, I could potentially work around my schedule and keep working. I speak 3 languages, have travelled a lot in recent years and I love sports, specially soccer and tennis. One of my favourite things to do is going to the movies, and I also enjoy outdoors time. I have a younger sister and an approximate of 15 little cousins (I come from a big family), so I have been around little kids all my life. I would say I am very experienced when it comes to childcare and I get along with kids with different ages extremely well. My disponibility is pretty open since I’m done with school at the moment and don’t have other commitments for a whole year. I would love to find a job related to childcare since I love kids and I hope I can find a family that will fit with my values. I have worked as a nanny and as a babysitter for the last 2 and a half years. Most of the kids I’ve taken care of have range between 4 and 10 years old, but I’ve also taken care of children as young as 7 months, and as old as 13 yrs. So far I’ve had amazing experiences with wonderful families (available for references if needed), and even though I haven’t been doing this for too long, I come from a big family where I’m the oldest cousin, so I’ve been looking after kids for as long as I can remember :)
