Hi there. I will get right down to it. I am one of the most positive and good natured people that you'll ever meet, as well as always being in a great mood. My background in the security field has given me the tools to be able to cope with almost any situation (whether it be threatening or not), and a definite greater understanding of life and the people in it. I come from a interesting blend of descendants, with British and Swedish being the main ones. Also have a good deal of French and Scottish in me, as well as a touch of Indian, from India (great-great grandmother was from there). Definitely have a wide-view on life and things in it, and my diverse family background has certainly played a part in that. Interests/hobby-wise, I would literally be the biggest auto-enthusiast that you'd ever meet, as well as being a mega-nerd for all things electronic. Everything from televisions to speakers, iPhones to cameras, I am there. I am also very much into music, film, and video games. Outside of those things, I love to long-distance run, go hi, camping with friends, and cross-country road trips. I reside downtown with my girlfriend of almost ten years now (live together but not married), don't yet have any children of our own, and absolutely love pets (had two cats in our old apartment, current building doesn't allow it). To wrap all of this up, I don't have a lot of experience with children, but I am more than willing to learn and adapt. I would be most comfortable with kids over the age of four or five, but would be willing to chat about any age(s). As far as caring for seniors or mature adults, I resided with my grandparents from the age of 19 until 25, so feel very comfortable around older people. I used to help them in the house, the garden, etc. Very enjoyable and fulfilling. Hope to hear from you all. :)

I don't have much childcare experience, but I am certainly willing to learn. I have a few young nieces and nephews, and they are a great help to me in giving me some much needed experience. Like I previously mentioned in my 'about me' section, I'd be most comfortable with children aged 4or 5 and up, as I don't have the knowledge base for younger kids.

I have received first aid and CPR training up north, when I worked security at a MB Hydro dam project. My certifications are not current, but I listed them as I HAVE taken them and know what it's about. Definitely would renew them both, not an issue.
