Hi, my name is Cara . I come from a family of 46 grand kids and counting and have always been surrounded by children and infants. My love for children and people in general goes beyond the average person. I have been a regular child caretaker for a family in Kitchener, ON for 6 years and am looking to provide the same level of care to a family in Vancouver for the summer months of 2017. I love to play with, dance with, teach, cook for and care for children of all ages. I am first aid qualified and have taken swimming lessons up until bronze cross. I have food safety preparation certification and have a strong interest in healthy eating/cooking/baking. I love to learn and will be starting my second year of university in Fall 2017 for my science degree. I am looking to work ~30 hours/week, rates negotiable. I have been looking after children of all ages for 7 years. I have done overnight and full weekend stays and weekly care for a family with two children since they were born until now (they are 6 and 7). I have performed all tasks requested by parents (and usually go over and above what they ask) including cleaning, washing dishes, doing laundry, preparing food, baking, gardening and more.

I am currently a student at the University of Waterloo for Science and Business. I am transferring to UBC for Fall 2017 for Land and Food Systems studies.
