My name is Sage. I am 20 years old living in Kitchener Ontario. I worked at a summer camp for 3 years and currently work as a full time nanny with 3 children. I love to clean, it’s one of my strongest asset I like it do be done very well I’m all about presentation when it comes to cleaning. I also love hanging out with children playing fun games and playing on the playground with them. I can cook both for a normal diet and a Vegan diet. I grocery shop and can drive children to and from school. I love being nanny because I don’t want children of my own but I still love that bond and trust you can create with them. I want to be a good role model for the people in my life and modeling calm behaviour and working with children who struggle with their emotions is something I can help with. I’m finding personally I’m very soft spoken with children and even when I’m mad you wouldn’t even know it. I had a very rough childhood and up bringing and I want to give children what I didn’t have, to feel safe and not judged and that how I treat them like humans with a lot of potential because that’s what they are. I would love to find part time work on the weekends and expand my experience.

I have worked at Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp for the past three summers as a counsellor. Each week, Sunday to Friday I had a new group of campers, in which I would guide them through team bonding and leadership skills, help keep their hygiene in tip top shape, help them get involved and participating in camp activities such as singing, games, swimming, crafts, archery, sports and nature activities. Each week was very unique with the variety of different campers that I would have the pleasure of spending my time with and getting to know. I love to work with children because watching them grow and open up and giving them skills they can take with them after camp is truly a blessing. I was a camper there for four years and each of my counsellors made me have the best week of my summer giving me so much love, support and kindness that I knew I had to do the same.
