I am a 20 year old, fun/loving and energetic family girl who was born and raised here in Calgary in a Catholic family. I am also a responsible, hard working nursing student attending Mount Royal University in my second year of studies. I love being active and spending time out in the sun on beautiful summer days. I played a variety of sports growing up as well as took piano lessons from my mom who is actually a pianist/singer in the church choir. I thoroughly enjoy biking, hiking, swimming, going for picnics, doing art activities and exploring Calgary. I love animals and have a zoo pass to prove it and although I have never personally owned a pet before I have looked after several family or neighbour's pets over my lifetime including both cats and dogs.

I have been babysitting for various neighbours, relatives and family friends for over 6 years now. I also have taken a babysitting course and am fully licensed as well as possess CPR and first aid certification. My most recent experience working with children is my volunteering with Special Olympics Canada. During the past school semester I spent my Sunday mornings going to a program called FUNdamentals where I worked with children who had disabilities. We did all sorts of physical activities including playing games, doing sports drills and stretching/practicing flexibility. I would set up activities and preform them with the children while maintaining a safe environment, then encourage clean up practices such as putting away balls back into their bins. It was a very rewarding time as I learned so much about how to interact with a variety of children in different skill categories and with completely unique personalities.
