I am a 47 year old female with good spoken English. I am married with two lovely children, who are above 19 years of age and very responsible and well behaved. My childcare skills have been polished through years of caring for my ward who always had a mind of own and kept me on my toes. I have experienced the transition that children go through and I believe that I now have the experience to look after infants as well as young adults. From looking after my children’s personal needs to handling their emotional and educational demands, I have been successful in managing it. Keeping children happy and safe is my number one priority. I keep them under a watchful eye and always make certain they avoid dangerous situations. I am good at helping them follow rules and encourage them to clean up after themselves while I help them do so. I effectively manage children’s day-to-day activities such as bathing, dressing and changing diapers as well as preparing formulas and preparing/serving meals. Furthermore, I am First Aid and CPR Certified, non-smoker. I am dependable, punctual and passionate about young ones. It is true some kids can be troublesome than others. In most cases, it is about their personalities, and I am able to handle each case individually. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. I don’t mind doing extra duties for you, like cleaning and cooking dinner for the entire family. I work well with other people, thanks to my friendly and caring nature, and am a good team player.

I believe my background provides me with the child management, mentoring and caregiving acumen as needed for this job. Additionally, I am CPR and First Aid certified which I believe is a plus point since handling children requires a nanny to be prepared for unforeseen circumstances.
