Hello! My name is Yael . I was born in Edmonton and raised in Southern Alberta. I have 5 younger sisters including twins and have had an active role in their upbringing as the oldest. Childcare has always been a passion of mine and it’s a responsibility and honour I don’t take lightly. I love being outdoors in any capacity; swimming, hiking, walking, relaxing, playing at the park, etc. Edmonton has a beautiful river valley that I find easy to spend hours in. I love a good picnic! I also enjoy reading and have a passion for books and stories. I am fairly easy going/ flexible and always eager to do what I can to help out!

I am currently employed with a wonderful family with 2 children (6 & 10) that I have been working with for over 4 years. Since the youngest is going into grade one in the fall, they will not need as much childcare but would still appreciate housekeeping and food preparation while the children are at school as well as before and after school care. I am looking for someone who needs a few hours of help on schooldays between 8:30-2:30 or in the evenings after 4:30 pm. I am adept at housekeeping and enjoy organization. I cook vegetarian and vegan and am open to learning to cater to other dietary/lifestyle choices such as; keto, seliac, raw, diabetic, etc. I love watching children grow and develop. There’s nothing quite like watching a child learn or discover something new. Watching over children has been a constant in my life for as long as I can recall. Nurturing their unique, individual personalities and helping them to understand others is incredibly important and something I take very seriously.
