Tamara Brown
Tamara To Whom It May Concern: I am writing in reference to Dominga (Ming), who was in our employ from 2006 to 2017. At the time of our engagement of Ming as a full-time caregiver and house manager for our 12 month old daughter, I was a self-employed consultant and expecting twins. Neither of us expected a fourth child to arrive not long after the twins. Ming graciously adapted to the increased work-load and stepped up significantly when I went back to full-time work when the twins were 12 months old. From the day Ming started in our home, she assumed responsibilities beyond the scope of her job, and worked tirelessly to help me with the management and running of a very busy household. My children now aged 11, 10, 10 and 7, regard Ming as a member of the family and have always been captivated by her cheerfulness, positive attitude, and obvious joy in life. She is full of energy and enthusiasm for her job, and took on more than her share of household tasks without being asked. There were many occasions when Ming was required to spend long hours and sometimes even weeks at a time with the children (and our pets. ) without scheduled breaks this due in part to my and my husband's work and travel schedules, she also accompanied us to the cottage and when we travelled. I knew I could always count on her, and that feeling remains the same to this day. I firmly believe my children have prospered and have a better work ethic as a result of Ming's positive influences - we will continue to stay in touch as she is firmly a part of our family. Ming was always on time and never sick, with the following a list of some of Ming's top qualities: Child focused and extremely patient Excellent cook Organized, Proactive, Efficient Reliable, dedicated, active and energetic Excellent communication skills and command of English language Has early childhood training and is the parent of an amazing now teenage daughter Drives and has access to her own vehicle I would be pleased to act as a live reference for Ming at any time, and can be reached at the following telephone number: Tamara We have the utmost respect and appreciation for Ming and highly recommend her as both a nanny, cook, and house manager.
